Five centuries of history in the heart of Rome
The building
Bourgeois elegance
Palazzo Marignoli, owned by Allianz, stands on an area rich in history that saw the foundation of the 16th-century Convent of Santa Maria Maddalena delle Convertite, and a radical 19th-century transformation. Between 1878 and 1883, Marquis Filippo Marignoli commissioned architect Salvatore Bianchi with the design of the current building, a symbol of bourgeois elegance and a testament to the social and economic evolution of the capital.

The building is in the heart of Rome’s historic centre, with entrances at via del Corso 183 and piazza San Silvestro 8.
The building
Where heritage meets innovation
Thanks to a comprehensive restoration project sponsored by Allianz between 2016 and 2020, the building now stands as a shining example of the integration of historical heritage and technological innovation. A testament to Rome’s ongoing urban and cultural evolution, the building will fulfil its purpose by hosting, from 2026, the Galleria Verticale: a building returned to the city that serves as a true crossroads between memory and the future.
