Explore the collections: art and patronage
Collections
The exhibition opens with the fascinating story of the restoration and reproduction of the equestrian monument dedicated to the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, a sculptural masterpiece of ancient Rome. This project was promoted and funded in the past century by RAS (now Allianz) in the last century, demonstrating a deep commitment to the preservation of national heritage.
The tour will guide you on a journey of discovery of a part of the company’s artistic heritage, comprising paintings and archival materials

The 19th and 20th Centuries in the Allianz Collections
The exhibition traces the evolution of painting in Trieste and Italy, drawing on the legacy of two historic insurance companies: Riunione Adriatica di Sicurtà and Lloyd Adriatico di Assicurazioni. It is a fascinating journey that illustrates the transition towards modernity and the emergence of the avant-garde movements of the 20th century. In the centre of Roma, our doors open to the public, offering a display of privately-owned masterpieces, often little known, now finally accessible.
